The brand new South Warrandyte Fire Station is complete and fully operational. The new station is part of a state-wide station enhancement program by CFA. It provides facilities for the 40 volunteer members and the additional career firefighters that are now working around the clock at the new facility. This integrated model of service delivery is common around Victoria which sees volunteers and full time firefighters responding to calls for assistance together.

As well as general office space, the new station incorporates a 3 bay drive through station for the trucks, protective equipment servicing area, training areas, meeting rooms and living quarters for up to 6 full-time staff.

The new 24 hour staffed station will provide services to the Greater Warrandyte area and surrounding suburbs. The new location provides better access to the local area and allows it to support surrounding brigades more effectively.
